West Gate Cinema interior by KG design team in Nairobi, Kenia is a project that consisted of 6 Cinema halls total capacity of around 700 people located in one of well-known local shopping malls

The scope of work covered unique design development, material selection, equipment distribution, shop drawing development and acoustic calculations for each cinema.

KG design team developed 4 different cinema design concepts alternating seat comfort levels, finishing materials and audio visual systems.
 
Main cinema hall, capacity of 194 seats, has purple acoustic panels which are tilted to accommodate LED linear lights in the edges and nicely blended with 3 colored seating themes to give a ruffle feel looking upwards the theater. Cinema equipped with Dolby Atmos sound System where 28 speakers and 4 subwoofers providing immersive sound experience.

West gate cinema has two special cinema halls for one of their most important categories of customers which are, Kids and VIPs, both having their own dedicated theaters with a specific design and features.

For Kids here in 1KG Design we developed a colorful environment that is designed to take child’s attention and interact with our small users while the movie has not yet started.

VIP cinema is equipped with a comfortable recliner leather chair, and dedicated food/drink counter table mounted to each sit. It also has a different leg space and allows to lay down in full length while enjoying your favorite movie.
